Good work! I like your blog!
Thanks!!! How sweet of you to take the time to write and tell me (: God Bless ,Dar
You write in a beautiful way. You can tell from your blog that you are an amazing mother and love your family very much. I’m sure you are having to deal with things that you never thought you would, but keep praying. “Trust in the Lord, and he shall strengthen thine heart.” Keep up the beautiful writing!
Thanks for your encouragement and support, it means a lot. I have total faith & trust in God that He will make all things for good (: blessings, Darlene
Wow, you are in phenomenal shape! How do you do it? Clearly you are a busy mom, so what’s the secret? My two young girls are finally in school and for the first time in five years I find I have the time to work out, but I just can’t seem to make it a priority!
Ha, thanks! It’s a lifestyle. I ride my mt bike, run trails, ski or whatever almost every day. Being in the back country is my passion. I was a ski racing coach, fitness and persoanl instructor for years. Now I just PLAY! The secret is to do waht’s fun for physical activity and MAKE it a priority because you know you wont slack parenting or on your job (: It’s a part of my blog I’ll be developing soon, Stay tuned! God bless, Darlene
Your very lucky….wonderful husband, really beautiful kids inside and out…too bad Heidi didn’t have the insight you have. I hope one day she returns to the fold….You spoke your heart…and the truth…I’m sure if you could do it over you would probably say what Heidi would have liked to hear…and also not have had this conversation on tv. things could be worse….some people who are not lucky enough to be mothers feel the empty nest situation always. I will continue to read your blog and the pictures past and present are beautiful….the timberline sounded very nice…hope Tim gets the job he so deserves…Does Ralph Lauren need a private chef???????????
Don’t beat yourself up too hard…You have such a good heart…and the only thing your guilty of is trying to be the best Mom you know how! But I feel your pain…because to lose a child is the worst pain of all.
Good idea! (: Telluride is close and GREAT skiing, not as good as CB but fun! I would say the same things to Heidi but more delicately and over a longer period of time, thats the climate of the cameras etc which ended up being more than unfortunate. Heidi is so wise and wonderful thats why this is all so hard to understand. Thanks for taking the time to write and for your encouragement and support, God bless, darlene
Hi Darlene,
I´ve just stept over your blog and it is so wonderful. You seem to be a very kind person and loving mother and I just wanted to say hello from Germany!
You are very blessed to live in such a beautiful place with all that pure nature. I give you my best wishes for you and your family and even if it`s a hard time you are going through, because of closing your restaurant, the time will pass and new nice things will happen-I am sure about that! I sent you lots of strengh,
Greetings Ninni
